Female: The core premise of the Weight Watchers Diet is that you can eat anything you like within reason. To keep things reasonable, the plan assigns each food a point value based on calories, fiber and fat. A large slice of thin crust pizza for example has six points, while a healthier cup of berries has one.

Based on your current weight and gender, the program assigns you a given number of points per day. In addition, you will get a weekly allowance of extra points to use for special occasions like a night out with friends. Weight watchers also offers a website and real time meetings to offer pure assistance.

This diet also recommends the incorporation of an exercise program which can earn you more food points. Weight watchers proves that as any good golfer knows, focusing on a low point value may be just the ticket to long-term success.
