Corinne: The ultimate back.
Rob: This week we got a letter from Eleanor who writes. I have been looking for DIY fashion magazines. What magazine should I check out? Or research I have done recently, I have discovered Bust, Fitch and Ready Made. Are those any good? Are there any great ones out there? Please help me.
Corinne: First stop let us talk about Bitch, a feminist response from pop culture. This is one of my favorite magazines. They do not really have that many DIY projects, but their articles are awesome.
Rob: In this Bust magazine, have they ever made the connection they put on the Bust Holiday Craftacular, a reference to the first part of the episode. So, not only do they host an event that supports the DIY movement, but their magazine rocks. They always have projects for you to do and interviews with amazing women were pretty big fans.
Corinne: And Ready Made is one of our all time favorite. Check out the episode we did a while back featuring the magazine, the founders, and some of the great projects they showcase.
Rob: Some of other famous include, Altered Couture, the ultimate guide for art wear enthusiasts. Threads by the talking press.
Corinne: And then there’s the Adorn, a crafty girl’s guide for embellishing life, Venuszine, whose winner issue has a great spread with Dita Vuntuse with my personal fashion icons. Last but not the least. the Make It My Magazine has a ton of cool step-by-step projects. This helps you from making Decoupage jewelry by Jennifer Perkins of Naughty Secretary Club is our favorite.
Rob: Alright. And this is the super exciting part. Eleanor, you are going to be getting a copy of every magazine that have you just talked today, and because we are in the holiday spirit, we are going to be giving away to the top five forum busters.
