Speaker: Chin ups is another one of those common exercises people think that they are doing right, but vast majority of are not performing correctly, getting everything they can get it out it, and I'm sure you have seen people in the gym performing chin ups and you can just tell them out about that just not how you suppose be doing it, so I am just going to go over quick what proper chin up is supposed look like.
So instead of having chip up bar, obviously. Chin up just make sure you're all in the say page is your palms facing towards you, and you hands faced about to 6 -8 inches apart, it's a different between a chin up and a pull up and it's definitely difference between a regular chin up and a wide grip chin ups. So make sure that you are setting up. I prescribed a chin up you are setting up with those hands bar 16 inches apart those palms facing towards you.
So it so -- it's looks like that, and make sure you tone all the way down forehand just feel those shoulders up your ears, arm straight you are going to pull towards up to your chin includes the bar and then low yourself back down. What you want to do is pulling think I am trying drive those shoulders down the way from your ears, and then comeback down, and your shoulders come back up.
So again, drive your shoulders away from the ears as you coming up, that's you are going to make sure you using locks and then keep those shoulders, bend down and the very last thing your lats on all those shoulders come back up by the ears. So that motion right there is what most people were lacking, your shoulders down and come down arms and then you are really trying to dominate the movement with their biceps instead of using the lats in their upper back. Once you tap in the last in upper back your chin up straight is going to increase significantly, but it will take a kind of get that feeling there.
So any ways just making sure that you are coming all the way down. An another common thing that I have see make sure that you are very first rep you extend down, this is very common people get set and not prepare, then pull up its not a chin up, make sure you coming down, dead hang, arm straight ears, then you can initiate that's how you perform to get chin up.
