Hi stampers! Today I am going to show you this technique, it is called bleeding markers and I am using the water colored paper with the Stampin Up marker Regal Rose and also the Embrace Life flower stamp set and then Stazon ink. So when you get your water colored paper, it is already cut to size which is 5” x 3 ¼” and it mounts right on your, front of your card perfectly. So we are just going to use it just like it is.
Okay, so first you are going to go ahead and stamp your images with your Stazon black, okay and then you are going to take you marker, Stampin Up marker. I am using the Regal Rose and I use the larger tip and you are just going to randomly color, now it does not have to be perfect, I am just actually scribbling all over the flower. You can miss some spots, you can go outside the lines, it actually makes it look better I think. Okay, that is pretty, that is pretty good.
Then I am just going to use a spray bottle for the water and then what you are going to do is you are going to spray your water colored paper where your flowers are and it is going to bleed, which you can see that it is doing that right now. You can grab a paper towel and kind of dab it as you go if you want, sometimes you get too much water on there. I am just going to dab it on my paper here, a little bit over here, okay and that is pretty much it. Like I said a napkin would work better but that is it. And then you can take the heat gun to it and you know dry unless you want to wait a couple of hours for it to dry, just lay it fat so it dries flat for you but that is it.
