How to Do the Coffin in Surfing

The Coffin is an old time classic maneuvers that any beginning surfer can do with the little bit of focus and a little bit of concentration.

As a surfer is riding along use your back hand to steady yourself, once the surfer sitting down.

He is in a praying position right before his about to die, and then when you lay back make sure that your lays straight back and you do not tilt your head.

You keep your cheeks flat if one cheek is pushing down too much the board will tip and you will fall off.

Keep your bone flat, keep your shoulders square and lay back straight put your hand up and look in air and then re-surface and back to your feet.

If you do not re-surface and get back to your feet you did not complete the coffin.
