Hi stampers! Today I want to show you how I did this embossing resist and tomorrow I will show you how I made this little box container that holds the card, but yes this are the two cards that I made. And then I made the envelope to match, so I am going to show you how I did that today.
I am just using the Whisper White cardstock and I am going to use the I am going to use the Versa Mark inkpad and I am going to use the White Detail embossing powder or it is just the white embossing powder that we sell now. So, and then I am going to show you another way you can emboss with crafting and the clear embossing. So let us get started, I am going to go ahead and take my embossing body, now this prevents static and what happens when you put your embossing powder on your cardstock. The embossing powder sometimes sticks to your cardstock where you do not want it to be, so the embossing body helps you to prevent that. So run your embossing body over you cardstock and then I am going to take my image and I am going to just ink that up with the Versa Mark.

Now I am just going to stamp my image, okay and the Versa Mark can be used as a watermark too because if you use the Versa Mark on a colored piece of cardstock. It gives the same color just a softer look but in white, I do not know if that is even picking that up or not but it is like, it is almost like clear. So then I am going to go ahead and add my White Detail Embossing Powder, just apply it all over your image. Then you want to save it, so do not put that back on your container but put the lid on so it does not get blown all over the place.
All right, so there is your image with your white embossing powder on your stamp image. Now, I am going to go ahead and heat this up with the heating tool gun, so I am sorry for the noise.

Okay, here is the image, I do not know if you can see that or not in the light. The blow drier will not work when you are embossing, it does not get hot enough but the heat gun really-really gets hot. Sometimes you have to use the tweezers to hold your image because it actually burns your fingers pretty bad.
All right, so then you can add--I am going to use the Certainly Celery and the Groovy Guava and I am also using the daubers. Now I am going to first apply the Certainly Celery over top of the leaves and stem and remember the more ink you apply the more your image will pop underneath the ink. It will show through better, so there are the green leaves and now we are going to take the Groovy Guava. Just apply that over the flower image, is that pretty?
Okay, so now I am going to show you how you can emboss with the craft ink, doing the same thing, you are going to take your embossing body and run it over your cardstock. I am using Whisper White again and then I am going to use my Kraft White ink, the ink is pigment ink so it will stay wet for a little bit of time, so you have time to play with it as per to edge your embossing powder. Okay, so I am just going to stamp that up with the Kraft ink, stamp that on my white. Again you are not going to be able to see that very good but it is on there and the I am going to use the Crystal Clear embossing and I am just going to add some powder on the end.
This is big jug when I bought over four years ago when they used to sell this; I wish they would sell that stuff in glitter that size that would be so good. Okay, so there is your image with the Kraft ink and the clear embossing so I am going to go ahead and heat this up again, pardon the noise.
[Demo]
I dauber with my Certain Celery again, just apply it to the leaf area and the stem and then my Groovy Guava. Okay, now the only difference you can tell is that the clear is a lot more glossier than the white and it is a little bit more raised but the look of it is pretty much the same.
All right, thank you for stopping by, we will see you tomorrow. Bye!
