How to Do the Grapevine Complicado Step in Salsa
On behalf of TVLesson.com this is Amy Weisman de Mamani with Salsa-Art.com. On
this clip on intermediate salsa, we’re going to show you a pattern called Grapevine
Complicado. We’ll demonstrate it once and then we’ll break it down for you. It looks like
this.
[Demonstration]
So, let me break down the move for you. It’s an intermediate clip, so I’m not going to
break down this setup very much. It’s something that’s probably familiar to you if you’re
an intermediate dancer. We start by both partners breaking back on one. Advance
swerved with left followers and the leader will have his front to your back on three. He’ll
roll you out on five, six, dropping hand seven, and now we start the grapevine part across
one, side two, behind three, side four, in front with the left on five, kick on six behind on
seven, to the side on eight, cross in front one, side two, cross behind three, side four and
finish it behind five, glare six, in place seven and do a traveling left turn to get out.
[Demonstration]
That move is called the Grapevine Complicado. On behalf of TVLesson.com, this has
been Amy Weisman de Mamani. Thank you for watching.
