How to Do the Head Lock Escapes

Submissions101, Headlock Escape.

Now this is a headlock escape from the ground. Someone has you here and they're holding on tight. How to escape?

What I do is I take my hand and I'm going to place it right here. My other foot steps over, pull it in tight, notice where it is, my posture pulling up. I'm almost looking at the ceiling. Now what I'm going to do is, I'm going to sweep back with this hand and add pressure on his jaw line framing, framing with the blade of my forearm here. Now and I push and break and I come out. So that's one variation.

Second variation is Dan is here and I'm trying to go for it and he decides to roll over onto his belly. Now what I'm going to do is, I'm going to add pressure to his shoulder. I'm going to plant my hands and I'm going to prop up and lean into it here on his shoulder. I really have to push my chest onto the back of the shoulder blade. So again he rolls, I push, leaning, lifting up. Get up.
