How to Do the Hip Flexor Stretch: Hey everybody. I’m Amy Mac. And today is Made Fit. We’re going to stretch out those hip muscles. If you are a cyclist or you do a lot of sitting, then you most likely have tight hip flexors. So, I'm going to give you an easy stretch. Let’s get started. Start standing tall and go into a deep lunge. Make sure that those hips are even and relax into the stretch. Make sure to breathe deeply. Don’t let that front knee come over the toe. Keep your chest tall, roll back to the shoulders and of course, you’re squeezing stomach for balance. You should really feel the stretch in an extended leg, hold for 15 t 30 seconds on each side. You want to do all of the stretches either after you warm up or after your entire work out. For more information, go to withamymac.com. We’ll see you next time, stay fit and be well.
