Submissions 101: I am going to show you the Powder Keg which is from the 10th Planet System. It's basically getting a triangle from the dog fight position. Now, we are in the dog fight here. We are both on the knees. I have my arm around his waist, he is whizzering his -- he doesn't have to whizzer it I can easily get his back. So immediately I am at here, he's got that whizzer, and he is trying to drive forward.
So what I'd like to do is, plant my hand around his trap, here, then I will take my leg and place it over his waist, then I'll come up, you should be able to balance, right here. I hook up, hook up the triangle, grabbing the submission.
So again we are in the dog fight, one, two, three, hooking it up. So dog fight position. Notice where my leg is, trap under here, if he gets to this position from the half guard, whipping and getting up to your knees. We are not getting to that in this video we are going to showing you, once you reach the dog fight position. So here, one, two, hooking up.
Now, from here as I hook up the triangle, as you can see, it's not a classical triangle, where his arm is across his body, ends up here, you can still finish it, by working your legs, toes half crawling, remember not like this, up crawling, grabbing, squeezing. If that doesn't work, the TP is always available for shifting out for getting the both lock
So that's the Powder Keg or basically a triangle from the dog fight position.
