Hey guys! I am here to talk to you ways to doing it close to charity. Yes, it is time to let go of that sweater that you have not worn for five years. And why a, you will free a space for yourself to buy new clothing and you will be able to help people out.
Now, what I like to do is I find a specific charity that I like, for example, breast cancer, boys and girls club, big brothers, big sisters, and see if there is a drop off area in my particular location where I live. And if that is the case, then I just go and drop it off. There is also a little tax advantage.
If you go to serve in donation centers, you can gain an estimated value and you can actually get a little receipt and give that to the taxman at the end of the year. So you are helping other people out and you know you are doing real good for yourself. Good thing is, is research, you now find your favorite charity and see what is available locally and if you can get that tax reduction and feel good, knowing that you are helping others. Good luck hunting for some new clothes.
