How to Download Deb Files Off Synaptic List

All right, this is for people that has a problem with their synaptic package manager you know they try to install something and they can’t or if you want to download the packages. And you know save it on the USB or whatever and put in another computer it doesn’t have any internet access or something, you can do that too. So basically open your synaptic package manager and you do normally what you used to do you know search for the package that you want. So in this one we use the poker.th and let’s say you want to install this one and all you’ve got to do is just mark for installation and it’s going to tell you what dependencies it needs alright and you mark it. Then after that, you don’t do anything else you just go to here where it says Files and generate a download script here. And that’s exactly what it’s going to do, tell you whatever you want to put into and so the desktop alright, and when it give that name I’m going to call it I don’t know “package” alright, and then save it. And as it saved it up here to my desktop here alright, so now what it does is basically just grabs the DEB file or whatever the hell it is and the dependencies also. So if I run it right now so I double click on this, to say run in terminal and what’s is going to do is download the packages like I said see it’s downloading it. And it’s going to be whatever your script is that if it’s not on the desktop it’s going to locate it at the same folder. So you see it has all the packages that we need for that program to work the dependencies everything, and so this is also great if you can’t install from the package manager but you can install it from the gooey DEB here. The package installer I mean for that. All right, that’s another way if your package manager is not working or you go to a friend’s house or you go to another computer and it doesn’t have the internet access you can save all the dependencies and everything and loaded up in there basically that’s what for and that’s how you do it, that’s it.
