I have got top five cheap inconvenient music methods and sources, a top five list submitted by Honey Toast from the chat. He writes I am watching your top five emails today about food getting ready for school etc and I thought I get something in there about what seems to be one of your hot topics? I choose to make a list of the top five ways of getting and listening to music legally, conveniently and inexpensive way.
1. Buy actual copies. Physical copies of your music, of your media. Go to the local CD shop pick up your favorite brands new CD or even go to a show at the local venue to pick something up at the merchandising cable not only is the quality very decent it helps support the artist and it gives you a copy of the music to use to your liking. If you want to put on your MP3 player throw it into a family slide show or video anything etc. the down sides are the cost of each CD having the copy or rip the audio on to your machine and take up space on your devices fair enough. There is also those used CD shops and we happen to have one that is pretty close by house too.
2.Use online music stores such as Itunes, the windows media source or anything else trusted that you can find. It is somewhat inexpensive and allows you to use the music to your liking well at least recording their license, and contracts and for people who are only looking for certain songs. They just do not spend the money on a full CD if you just want a single. The downside to this are once again taking up space on your computer or a media player and with Itunes limitation on some devices or you know even specifically with windows media, but the bottom line is go through trusted vendors ones that you do not believe or they are going to disappear anytime soon and leave in a lurch.
3.He even note so here is my favorite. Subscribe to rhapsody or another streaming type music source. It is by far that she just wait to pay for your music and sometimes can be more convenient with accessibility form any computer with an internet connection. The biggest downside of this would be the limitation to using something like a computer not on your ipod or portable device that does not support that service. The other downside is the lost qualities most listeners like myself when I have a problem with streaming quality or slightly lessen quality, but some listeners prefer to have a highest quality possible. If you do not need perfect CD or better quality and do not always need to take your music with you. rhapsody is one of your best choices and the source or of course is Chris favorite rhapsody. You can even take the trail for a ride to see if you like it before you have to spend the cent and by the way I have a coupon specifically for rhapsody’s servicing. If you want to sign up at rate about that compared to the Itunes. I do not like the real player I just have the browser plug in installed and it is like what $10 to $15 a month it is the cost of a real CD I listen to it all the time and you know that.
4.Use online radio. One of my favorites that I am really starting to use this Pandora it is free and you could choose your favorite genre’s and create a station that will play music similar to any particular artist. These are great because if you do not want to pick a song you can just sit back and the song will play back that you are probably going to like. With Pandora you can create multiple stations so you can listen with a few fast pace rock songs before schools and some quick techno songs before work or a folk and Indy song before bed or even mix them all together into one station. The biggest downside of this is once again, inability to bring music with you everywhere, but now some online radios such as previously mentioned Pandora providing support for cell phones streaming even at PSP with the Wi-Fi connection can now play in online radio show.
5.Mix it up a bit. If you are not too involved in music, enjoy a few songs by some popular artist, but like itune every now, and try to have an easy cheap and inconvenient way to get your music. If you are at home and want a quick song try your favorite artist Myspace or website. Most artists have them more popular songs up, which are prior the ones you want to hear anyway. If you love a few different bands spend a few bucks on their albums and listen to the car or listen to them in a car or on your ipod when you want. You do not have spent a fortune in this just to have something to listen to. If you want to get a single song instead of the full album but still want it in your car try just the Itunes or the online music store. You can burn and mix your favorite music that you purchased or put on your player for your convenience.
Once again, do not have to spend a fortune if you are looking just 10 to songs even listen to the radio if you want. If you like more popular to others there is a good chance that the artist will play soon. If you do not get involve with enough of the music to pick one single way get out of your music. You should try to, I think he copied and pasted and do not finish his thought there, but I think other point is very well taken. And he finishes off I think with very accurately, he says; over of if you want a good convenient way to get or listen to your music, better try to use the excuses like; but I do not have the money or the actual album will take up too much space. I use limewire, torns, PDP, well then you should definitely some of these other methods. I used to get my music with torns and non stop and although I did not have any virus problems like most limewire users may have. I still felt somewhat guilty about it. I would buy albums from shows that I went to from my favorite bands, but nothing compared to what I have from other artist. Now, I am using Pandora radio frequently at home and it is very convenient and free.
Hopefully you will try to ditch limewire, not you Chris. I know that you would not touch that and use a safer and free and or free source instead.
