I'm going to show you the fastest and easiest way to download videos from YouTube directly to your computer. Once you have it on your computer you’ll be able to play these videos in your windows media player. Convert it to your iPod or your iPhone or even your mp3 player.
The first thing you want to do is grab the video URL from YouTube by highlighting and copying the URL. Once you have the URL you need a free utility called TubeTilla and you can get at Tubetilla.com ones you have the application go ahead and open it up, the first thing you want to do is paste the URL from YouTube of the video you're looking to grab. Once you have the URL click get the video. You’ll notice a progress bar and this is showing you how long it’s going to take to download the video from YouTube.
In this instance I'm downloading the video about the Rubik’s cube. Once the video has been downloaded you’ll notice that you can modify the file name. At this point you can shorten it or rename it to whatever you desire. Once you have the video downloading you can see it has a WMV, which is what is playable in the windows media player. The next option is to save it for your iPod, your PSP or your iPhone and that’s the popular mp4 format. In this instance we’ll just going to save it as a video, so I’ll go ahead and click that. Notice that the file name and now we have a progress, this is telling you how long its taking to convert the file. After it’s converted the file, you have the option to open the file folder, so now you have a list of all of the files you’ve downloaded and convert it into a WMV from YouTube and that’s how easy it is to download videos from YouTube using TubeTilla.
