Hello, and welcome to another Daddy James Video Tutorial. Today, I want to talk to you about how to get a YouTube video and download it and then covert it into a MP3 format, or if you just want to download a YouTube video. First time is working with me is open your Firefox, or also you'll need Firefox for this, you open up Firefox and go to Google, and you Google in video download helper, once you do that, the search right here will come up, and we will click on it.
The Video Download Helper is a Firefox add-on, and it's really good for downloading YouTube videos, and some videos from other sites as well. And by the way what you will do, you'll click right here, and it will add it to your Firefox, and then it's going to ask you to restart your Firefox, and you just restart it. And then ones you installed you should have it up here, and as we see those DownloadHelper. Okay, next what you want to do is, is go to YouTube, find a song on YouTube, it's normally best to do ones that have like pictures, and someone else has put together that has better sound quality, it is going to be much more better.
So here, let me go ahead and let you listen. Okay, what you do next, is you don't want to right click on the video itself, because you wont be able to download like that, but you do like this, what you want to do, you want to go above it or beside of it, but not on the video, you right click and then you will go down to DownloadHelper and you go over here, and down here towards the YouTube, and the name of video, and you save it to wherever you want, I am going to go ahead and save to desktop. And then we will start download. Also if you notice right here, you see it's loading, its almost loaded, when it's fully loaded it downloads a lot more quicker, as you can see right here.
Also some videos won't download, because some of the users kind of block them, where you can't download them. But most of the time you have no problems downloading, like a little bit ago, I have trouble downloading Céline Dion song, it won't let me download, that's because whoever made it, had blocked that. Okay, now once that's finished you should have Hilary Duff on the desktop or whatever song you downloaded. And the next thing you want to do, you want to do with a program called quick media converter, and to get that you would go to cnetdownload.com, and in the search area, you want to type in quick media converter, once you do that you will scroll down, it has some advertising material, no need to go that, but you want to go down to where it has quick media converter, you see the usual ratings right here and right here is Download. If you want to read the body you can click right here, if not, and you want to go ahead and choose download, go ahead and click right here. Once you do that, I haven't downloaded, because I already have it. Once you do that, you just install it into your computer, and when that's over it should be, you should have it as a top icon and let me show you where that icon here.
Okay, and I don't have it on my desktop, but if you have it on, dock it up. It's right here, right here, and this is what the icon should look like, Quick Media Converter and once you get, it's downloaded and installed and everything, clip on it, and sometimes it takes a little while before it starts up, but it will startup and then you get the -- we have got here, is all the files would be seen above. So we can go ahead and type Hilary Duff, and you click on it and it will show you the other slide, it's already downloaded and if you want to keep it as a video then go ahead, but you want to go ahead and turn it into MP3 file that play in your stereo, then what you do is, you take the file, simply just drag it up right there and then you go right here with the little music icon here, and it will say MP3 Audio, and you want to pick where you want to go to, add to click file, add to what you can, make up a new file or new folder or now that is non music, I am going to go ahead and see how it works out on mine. I would then just click here, you will convert, as you can see right here it says Converting. It normally don't take too long because I have a follow up there.
Now once it's done it will say Conversion OK, and we will go to wherever we save that, I want to save as the MP3 files, and not some another files. And then what you would do, its actually desktop or wherever you have the file typed in, and then what you do is, save it on desktop there. We'll go right here, click view, and there is your MP3.
Now as you can see is the whole song, also it gives you a little picture, I don't know why it does that, normally those pixel pictures are going -- normally what I do is select the picture, there is no need to have that picture, I can use that for something. So here it is, and that's what I have on this tutorial, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them, please rate my video, and thank you and have a good day!
