How to Draw a Sleeping Cat Tutorial

Today's demonstration is going to be drawing a sleeping cat out of a number two. First thing we are going to do is start by closing this portion of the two and then adding a small triangular shape over here in the corner, maybe a little bit larger one up here suggesting the cat's other ear in the small triangular shape. Again, toward the center this one indicates where the cat's nose is going to lie. It's like arcs suggesting the sleeping eyes and as much of the mouth as I can fit in here. The back is going to start little choppy and in arc this will give a suggestion of her. We'll finish it all the way and then just pull around separately to indicate where the tail is going to be. Again a little bit choppy and another curved angle here just to suggest where the leg will be, finish off the tail.

Secondary paw would be down in here along with the toes and then the toes will be applied to the first part and there you can see it's coming together right now. Position of that ear here and we need some whiskers and background just so the cat doesn't appear to be floating in mid air. Put them in the corner and there you have a drawing of the sleeping cat out of the number two shape. Hope you learned something. Have fun!!
