Fit is everything when we talk about tailored work clothes. Pants should be fitted but free of visible panty lines. Skirts, especially pencil, should be loose enough to comfortably sit in. Jackets and shirts should be buttoned without any pulling.
Professional looking shoes are a must in any office environment. Pumps, slingbacks, ballet or pointy flats are the best choice to keep your feet elegant at the workplace. To compliment your office look with style, choose a structure handbag. Go for styles that project an organized image.
Now let's talk about career killers. Too revealing or too sexy is definitely a no-no in the office. Wild prints, tight clothing, plunging necklines, it's called work for a reason. If you are too casual in the office, people are not going to take you and your work seriously. So avoid wearing gym clothes, spaghetti straps, jeans, sports attire and open-toe shoes. If doesn't fit, don't wear it. Take the time to study your body-shape and learn what enhances your figure.
