Drying your Poodle after a bath
It's time to dry the dog, but do not towel the dog dry in a vigorous manner. You will create more snarls and mats. First squeeze your dog while he is in the tab and you let him shake. It is a natural way of getting water out of the coat. Lastly gently blot the dog dry with the towel.
Do not use a dryer it's for humans. Human hairdryers run much harder, with little loose you can lose your control and run at a much lower CFM, that's the cubic feet per meter. It's been one design for use on a dog.
It's not worth burning your dog and ruin his coat to save a few bucks. You will save time and money by having and using the right equipment. There are various different dryers because there are many different styles and brands to choose from. The prices start about 100 bucks.
To directly use a dryer, drying the dog in the least amount of time place the end of the hose which touches the dog. This moves the water out along the hair and off the coat. You want to dry from the inside out rather from the outside in.
The dog dryer never gets hot, so you will be able to see any skin problems that the dog may have. Be careful not to blow the air from the dryer into the ears directly. You want to use cotton balls in the ears hold the ears away from the head in your hand while you dry.
Again, thoroughness is the key. We can now say the dog is completely and totally dry from the skin up.
