Travis Stork: Question from Tyler. Tyler, what's on your mind?
Tyler: Actually my wife and I wanted to ask, if you guys can recommend us specific supplement that can help out what a certain autistic behaviors or characteristics such as light and sound sensitivities.
Drew Ordon: Very good. Well, when you think of light sensitivities, the first thing that we think of is let's look at the pupils. And very often you'll see they're dilated, they're huge. It's like they've been to the eye doctor and got the eyes dilate. They're huge. What kind of a thing is going on inside their body that's creating that what we call in medicine, is sympathetic response. And we have to look for the cause. But that's like my number one.
Number two is you read about, if you look and lead and mercury toxicity with a fancy name we call as photophobia, light fear. They have this real photophobia. You'll see that in all the metal toxicities, one of the hallmarks is photophobia. So that's another thing that I'm going to have to think about with that particular child.
From switching over there, well, I want to clean out the gut first to see if some of those things are going right. By switching into the auditory, these children have lots of problems with sound. I don't think they managed the stimuli well. They cover their ears up and it could to be the echoes of bouncing of sounds off ceilings, it could be a large group, my son couldn't go into lunch room at school. Everybody has been there and that's lots of coughing, huge noises in there. It just drove him absolutely nut. So he can't make sense of those sounds.
But I've also found that clostridial organisms growing in their bout. Again, laboratory evidence creates a toxin that makes them a whole lot more hyper acoustic sensitive and we remove that with the real antibiotic. Demonstrate that these organisms are gone and by the way he is no longer putting his hands over his ears.
