Amy Mac: Through the years we have seen all sorts of diet trends, low cal, low fat, low carb and now all natural. Are you on the band vegan should you be I'm Amy Mac and in todays fit life I have five easy steps towards eating naturally.
First of all what is a natural food? Foods that are natural are minimally processed and it's close to their original status possible. So fruits and vegetables for example are a great choice because there is no preservatives and they are not processed. Now we now know what a natural food is, lets get started with how to eat naturally.
One of the hints to eating naturally is to look at the ingredient list and see if you can name everything on it. If you can then you are off to a good start. Number two another way to shop and select is to stick the outside as the grocery store with fresh produce and meat. Number three, now I know just told you to buy fresh but buying canned or frozen fruits is a great way to cut cost and waste, just make sure they don't have any additives. Number four, because eating naturally is so trendy right now, you can see a lot of packages labelled a 100% natural, that's really going to help you with sodium through the foods and brands you already like. Number five, grow your own. The weather starting to get nice, so it's a great time to start thinking about growing your own fruits and vegetables, it's going to cut cost and its going to ensure quality control.
