Welcome to Geekcompnerds computer zone show. Please take note that if you have any questions, email me at support@geekcompnerds.tk.
Alright in this tutorial we’re going to be seeing how you can edit the sent to menu in Windows. Now by this, I mean, you can remove entries and add more locations. So what you’re going to do to get started is go to start, run and type in shell colon sent to and hit okay. Now this are all the entries that are in the sent to menu. Now if I don’t want Skype, for instance, just hit delete on your keyboard and that should get remove from the right click menu.
Now if you want to add more location, open up the folder that you want to add, in this case, I’m going to add the geekcompnerd folder, right click and drag it in to here and let go. Then choose create shortcut to over here, now what you can do from is right click again, choose properties and then you can customize it and change the icon if you wish. So, see I’ll choose that icon, then hit apply, okay and you can exit out of the sent to folder.
Now if you right click on our file and choose sent to, you can see that a new option to send it geekcompnerd is in place. So if you select geekcompnerd, this file will be sent to the geekcompnerd folder.
So that’s how you edit the sent to menu in Windows, if you have any question as I’ve said before please email me at support@geekcompnerds.tk.
