How to edit a voice memo on your iPhone
Michael Callahan: Hi this is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome to your butterscotch.com tutorial on how to edit a voice memo on your iPhone. So navigate to your voice memo icon there it is, tap on the button on the right your memos will appear, I only have one but select the one you want to edit or trim, now tap the little arrow that's over on the right, right next to the number of seconds. Go to the next screen to see what time it was recorded how long it is, the date you can trim the memo or share it, we'll tap trim memo.
Now if you put your finger down for example on the right hand side you see the time comes up. Now you can slide your finger slowly to the left then pick it up. If you want you can start at the other end you see it shows 00:00 when you put your finger down the right at the beginning, you slide it to the right. Now tap trim voice memo. click voice memo at the top now you are back and your 26 second memo is now 12 seconds and that way you could listen to you memo in the process so that you don't trim off something you don't want to. So this is trimming a voice memo on your iPhone and that's all there is to it.
