Hello and welcome to another Daddy James video tutorial. Now I want to talk to you about the program called Audacity.
Audacity is a good program where we can edit your music. You can out the MP3 and for some MP3 song we can actually edit to way you can make it an instrumental. Like you can reread the lyrics in it or you could cut the song up or you can shorten the song or you can add another song together and make a nice little mix. To get this program Audacity, it is a free ware and to get this you will open up your Internet Browser and you will go to Google or Yahoo or whatever you used to search web and type in Audacity. Once you have done that you should get this search to come up right here. The first one right here, it will be Audacity.sourceforge.net click on that and you get this page right here to come up. And you want to download, go down a little bit and download this one right here. You do not want to do the beta because it is not that good.
And the next thing you want to do is go down a little bit and you only go down right here where it says Audacity installer. Click on that, the next is to take to your space and you download right here. You can save it wherever you want I have to save it in desktop, to my desktop. The next thing you want to do, you want to go ahead and get back on your browser, go back to your page after that you are going to have to download another program to be able to take your music and turn them back into an MP3 and you want to leave the link MP3 encoder. Once you do that you will click on that and very quick on right here to go to the main download page. Next thing you do, you will go down and click it on right here, okay and this one and we will save it to my desktop as well.
And once you have done that you are pretty much done with your browser and you see I got most of them downloaded. Once you done download everything you should have this two downloads right here. First thing you want to do is you want to go ahead and take this zip file right here and turn it on into a folder. I do not work WinWord, if you do not have WinWord you can get allzip or taxzip, both of those programs are free. WinWord you have to pay for it or once you can find a free one somewhere. Once you do that you should get this file right here, okay so we are going to click this file for right now and I would go and open up Audacity and we will go ahead and install that. Now in order to get the link MP3 to work with Audacity you need to have song ready right now.
Once you figure out how to put song number two to put on there, you simply click and drag it over there and once you get it to go in there. You should be able to set it with such as add as. That is another kind of beat or sound effects are there. Now if you are having trouble getting your song, you go to the one here. What you would do, you would do it another and just go to project and then put audio and right now I will just save it on the desktop so I would just go down to MP3 file that I wanted what is your favorite stuff would be. Click on that and then hit open and it should put it on here. Okay, once you get that on there let us say you want to edit it and we will go practice out. You want to make sure that this is right here. I am going to need to switch or you want to start to editing that but you want to cut this out.
And then pick that and just cut it out right here and that is pretty much cut that part of the song. This will not sound very good but that is pretty much cut it out also you can end up type in a voice sound of it. I have to do another tutorial on that another day, so basically once you are done editing the song and everything you want to export that as an MP3 file. To do that, we have to right here and then go back to export it as MP3 but hold on. What you have to do first is you have to be able to get Audacity to be able to turn it into MP3 first you have to initiate the lame MP3 file. Then we will be able to do that with the files on yours, you would how to export as MP3, highlight and it would be like this, so what you need to do you need to go ahead and have to find it to have Audacity to be able to find the link file. In order to that we are going to have to go through edit.
There is also another way of doing it but I can not really remember that right now I can only remember this one, just present this. Now what you want to do you want to do, you want to go to file format. Once you do that right here at MP3 export set up. You will not have it playing right here, you will not have that. You will have to go right here but click on file elaborator then your file where you have your link MP3 file like. If you have one on your desktop then search for it on the desktop, if you have it in your my document go into my document and get the lame MP3 file. And let me show you what it would look like when you actually find the file, this is what you are looking for right here it is the lame encode dll. If you are not finding that file and that is what you need if you are to do in MP3. And once you do that you go to file, now you are ready to export out as MP3. You just name it if you want, you can have more information with it but you do not have to it. Okay, once you are done doing all that and everything, you will click on it and there is the video file.
And that is my tutorial on Audacity maybe some other day I will teach you how to just pick the lyrics out of the song and the only thing bad about that is it only do some songs. It only pick some layers out of some song and the other one it just do not sound very good. If you like you could probably search on YouTube other people doing tutorials on here and they might show take lyrics out of song. Like I said it does not work with all the songs, it work for all MP3 songs.
