Hey, it is Vince DelMonte from YourSixPackQuest.com and today, we’re going to be talking about the truth about six pack abs. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, a lot of people giving you advice, especially so-called gurus and people putting their faces on the cover of fat loss books and six pack books that don’t even look the part, and they don’t even show you their abs themselves. Dr. Phil, you are one of them.
Sure, they might be giving correct information, but I would rather take advice from somebody who looks and lives the part. So I want to go over some of the common misinformation that you guys probably receive each and everyday, and I want to give you guys the truth on how to get a six pack.
The first truth I want to share is that your six-pack is not going to be found in any magic pill. Let me ask you, what did the last magic pill do for you? And the one before that, and the one before that? If those magic pills worked, you would know about it and everybody would be fit. Everyone would have a six-pack. The reality is that they only work for a short period of time. They are short-term solutions to a long-term problem.
The next truth I want to reveal about getting a six-pack is that your six-pack is not found in any magic machine. All those late night infomercials, they are out there because you guys are buying them, and if you guys are not going to stop buying that stuff, they are going to continue to market to you because they are prying on your last for short-term results and an easy way out.
Let me ask you, where is the expenditure on that machine? Where is the oxygen depth? Where is the intensity? Where is the progression? Where is the lactic acid? It is not there and that is another thing. Again, if you are complete, you might be getting some short-term results but it is not a long-term solution if you are looking to get 30, 40, 50 pounds off your body and get a six-pack and look impressive for your friends and family.
The next truth I want to reveal in getting a six-pack is your six-pack is not found in any diet. Diets are short-term. They are not long-term. And remember, you have to be truly committed to your goals and then work for the long-term. The main problem with diets is that they create more stress in your life when you cannot eat this, when you cannot eat that. And when there is more stress in your life, that raises more cortisone in your body, and when there is more cortisone in your body, it burns out your adrenal glands and that causes your body to store fat, so that is the exact opposite effect of what you are trying to do.
The fourth mistake—the fourth truth I want to reveal is that fat loss—six pack is not found in outrageous amount of cardio. I want to share this over and over, but again, when you are doing long, slow cardio—let me ask you, where is the progression, where is the intensity, where is the lactic acid, where is the oxygen depth, where is the good old fashioned hard work that is going to force your body to dig down deep and pull that fat out for energy. There is no post-workout, afterburn effect.
So the truth about getting six pack abs first off is it only becomes easy once you discover that it is hard, that there is work. The good news is that it is harder to get there than it is to stay there and I will reveal the complete system on how I compete on stage as a national level fitness model competitor, how I helped Peter Corvel lose 100 pounds in six months, and if you are looking for a long term solution on how to get six packs in six months, you know where you go, YourSixPackQuest.com.
