How to Embed Images into Adobe Illustrator CS

Hi and welcome to PlasticPrinters.com on tutorial on how to embed images into illustrator. What we’re going to do first is obviously have Adobe illustrator open and we’re going to go and grab any kind of picture file and bring it into illustrator. So I just grab one, those on my desktop here and then we’re going to window. We’re going to go down to links. See how the image I have selected is actually highlighted down here, that’s good. We’re then going to click on this little drop down menu or pop up menu, whatever you want to call it and click embed image. Once you have done this, it makes the images. Whatever you have placed in the illustrator will now be attached, so when you save it and send it to us or to whoever you’re going to send it, they will also get the image that is inside of the illustrator.
