Holy cow! I don’t remember little Timmy looking like a vampire before. What happened? Well, it looks like the camera’s flash caught the retina in his eye and well gave him this kind of evil look. But problems such as these are really easy to fix, right in your printer’s driver. Let me show you how.
So I’m going to go up here to print, select the printer I’m working with then let me click on options and printer properties. All right, now right here, I’ve already got the options that are going to take care of the vampire look in his eye just by clicking on fix red-eye.
Fix photos already selected here but I would recommend with just about every photo printing situation you might find yourself in. So, I'm going to make sure that’s selected as well as fix red-eye. Now, if you want to get in to the knots and bolts of things a little bit more you can click on the advance tab.
Now, here you see that fix photo is still selected and we also have the same correction here where there’s a lot of different options. You can go with people, landscape, night scene, but in most cases the autocorrect is going to take care of whatever your situation is. So, I’m going to keep that and then if you’re using let’s say one of the older digital cameras or from a photo from a phone, you might want to use the digital camera correction and this would take care of any kind of like jagged lines around like high contrast there is, things like that. And we also get another little option that pops up underneath that which is smooth skin.
Now, what this does is because of all that jaggedness and everything, when there is like maybe a gloss or a shine on the face this can really kind of standout. So with the smooth skin option which just kind of tones down that down a bit and gives you a little bit more of a realistic portrayal. It’s subtle but powerful.
When you’re ready to go with all, these click OK and hit print. And just like that we’ve banished the dark forces of vampire evil back to the netherworld from which they came and review of Timmy for it’s true Rubix south there and I think it’s a little fireman’s hat.
Review: Fid red-eye, auto correct, digital camera correction, smooth skin.
There are also other options in there if you want it such as black and white or sepia. So, fell free to have fun and know that you’re photos will turn out their very best every single time.
Epson, exceed your vision.
