Speaker: Do you have a dog or a cat or a pet of any kind? If you do, then you will understand completely when I say that my cat and my dog are my very best friends, next to my wife and family of course, but if you don't, and you don't understand pets and the relationship between human beings and animals, then there is nothing that I can say that I can ever convince you about the close relationship between animals and people until you yourself have been fortunate enough to allow a cat or a dog to come into your life then you will understand what I'm talking about.
This is my dog Abby and this is my cat KD. I live in an area in Virginia that's surrounded by beautiful lakes and pristine beaches. I also travel to the Caribbean a lot and it doesn't matter where I go in this world there is that bond between people and animals and it is universal. Abby her dog enjoy rummaging around in the meadow we have created for her and sometimes she even finds something interesting. The cat on the other hand just likes to be pampered and to be catered too because after all, we are his subjects.
This Rose of Sharon is exquisite. Beautiful flowers indeed, but now back to my cat, KD. Do you realize that thousands of years ago cats were worshiped as Gods? Cats have never forgotten this. If God created man in his own image you have got to wonder in whose image did he create the nobler cat and what about my dog, well, he is a friend, a partner, a defender and I am his life, his love, his leader and he will be faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. I just hope that I have earned his respect.
