Ponzi bless her heart asks me if I want to go to the beach every summer, and I always say, no. I am just not -- for me the whole beach thing wasn't even listed in my profile, on mash.com. I don't even like long walks, I mea, for me, a walk is to get you to a place and then you are done, and then you come back. That's about it, and I do have a small romantic piece with me. I did draw her name in the sand here, and no, this is not a Photoshop, that is real. That is legit sand, that is real sand, and I even -- if I close that window, I think I have got another one here. So open that one. See I did that one too. So I mean I am just kind cool neat, now you can do that, and take a picture of it. That's a unique memento, I mean that is something you can't buy in souvenir shop, right. Make it yourself, take your pictures. It's pretty cool.
I got beach tips submitted from Bowler, and we all know our friend the Bowler Eric, and he is known as Bowler forever, if he didn't quite make that out. He has got some really good bowling videos on YouTube by the way, we will have to link over to him. So the top five beach tips from when you are on vacation, or whenever you are at a beach. Number one, bring a lot of cash, a debit or gift card, and plenty of quarters for the arcades, and the parking meters. If you don't, then the change will be there, always near by, when you need a couple of bucks in change. Be sure to use one or five dollar bills, as most machine only take those bills. Point is, have some options available to you, and it's a good thing too. Some swim trunks, at least the male swim trunks, I don't they make any female, but the male swim trunks have little pockets where you can stick this stuff.
Number two, bring sunblock, preferably over anything SPF 30. There are some sunblocks that have as much as SPF 60 to 70, insure that sunblock takes care of UVA and UVB rays. If not, then you can get badly burned or even infected, and Ponzi found this sunblock, but it's spray, and I hate it, I hate getting mucky, like I don't like it at all. So she had gotten this, it's for kids I guess, but hey, I am kid at heart, and so you just spray it on, and it's the same thing. You don't need to rub it in, get your hands all be icky.
So it's easy to do so long if you have the right equipment. So look for in spray, a spray container,or some kind of aerosol. I don't know if it's aerosol or full of carbons, hey, we are destroying the atmosphere, but at least we are getting a good time.
Number three bring some friends, you can't go to the beach alone, as it's gets pretty boring after a while. Bring some friends and portable grill to join you on the trip. You will have much more fun with other people. Plus, you will never know if they will pitch in for you, if you are sured on something. That's true. Ponzi, went to Hawaii with a friend, that was after our first trip to Hawaii, but before our second trip. So she have been there three times and they went there just to like lay on the beach, that's it. I don't get it. Nothing else, just they stayed laid on the beach.
Number four, bring coupons and vouchers, you never know what you can find a coupons booklet for in vacation pamphlets. Take a peek through them to find a good restaurant. Free mini golf games or even a discount at the water slides. More money for you is always a good thing. So even if you are like local -- check those tourist traps, and they may just to save you a few bucks, not to falling into the tourist trap, but get the coupon booklet or pamphlet or something.
And number five, bring the cameras. Remember you've got to memorialize your fun somehow. Digital cameras and video camcorders are the best cameras to bring, for you to use and then get them uploaded to website, such as flicker. If you want to just show to your family, a disposable camera would do just fine, and the underscores with have being fun, being fun and having fun. Being fun with friends, being safe and not drinking and driving, you got to stay safe. Just play within the rules and I think everybody will be happy at the end of the day. I have never really had an issue with that. Then again, I have never really had an issue of going to the beach, because I don't do it. And yeah, I have got the nice Seattle rain tan going for me, it's not that I don't like the sun. I don't have anything against the sun necessarily. It's just not for me.
