How to Equalize Through a Mix On be half of TVlesson.com my name is Eric Roman otherwise known as DJ Empire. In this clip, I’m going to show how to EQ you’re self through remix. Let’s say you’ve already learn your scratching techniques. You’ve already reset level for your night and you’ve learned how to beat much which all the one most important things. We’re going to apply this three in to going to actual mix at a night club. Once you have your songs selected in your head and you’ve already had your night plan, you go ahead and start. You go through your party and we’re going to go with this songs right here which is one that I chose and you have your beat going and so fast forward to a little—to a beat where have full range of audio. Your mids, your highs and your lows and you’re getting ready to bring in the next song. But you don’t want to put to much emphasizes on your baseline. So, go ahead clear your base and just start off with the basic beat. Then we have a break where there should be no bass. So, we we’re going to bring in this song here. One scratching in and this is also how you do live remixing. You keep them on beat and you tell your bass while you’re EQ-ing so now you have a new song from two previously recorded songs. And it sounds like you’ve made a whole new song and its like prerecorded in a studio when actually you’re doing it live. This is the premise of what a DJ does. Create new sounds with already made music. So, let’s say I want to change it up again and go back into one element and just keep the vocals. That’s how you EQed through remix.
