I have got a lot of reports over the last few years of this attack being used in abductions, muggings, and several different kinds of street attacks. So, we thought we put this one in, okay. It's a very typical and a very well known attack and it's called a Hammer Lock, okay.
We will walk you through it, okay, basically what it is, is the arm up put behind the back, okay. Now all the tension is on this shoulder here, okay. So the trick is to unwind this shoulder, just by ducking the shoulder down, turning, okay, and that brings you free to strike the groin and then add on any other techniques that you are comfortable with to get away.
And there are a lot of different ways to get out of this attack and this by far is the most foolproof, okay. The arms up the back, all the tension is on this shoulder here, okay, so that's the shoulder you will unwind basically, okay. Just drop it down as you turn in towards to your attacker, put some strikes here and get away, okay. Keep it going.
And the arms up behind the back, drop the shoulder down, strike anything you are comfortable with there, okay; you can put a knee strike in, elbow, thrust kick, whatever, whatever you are comfortable with.
Again drop it down, turn, strike, make sure they don't chase you and get away. Okay, do it one more time. Arms up behind the back, locked at the shoulder, turn, make sure they are not chasing you, and get out of there.
