Speaker: Hi, we are going to talk about evaluating your nanny. Probably the first thing that's important to remember is that many times your nanny is from a foreign country, so before you make a decision about whether or not, a nanny is working out for you, you might want to consider the fact that may be she is far or he is far away from home and there could be a bit of a language barrier. Make sure that your instructions are clear and that they understand what is expected of them. It's important to create a really good communication with your nanny and to also make sure that your children are able to communicate with them. And if not just go over some of the basic things that you think, need some tweaking. It's a good idea to list on a piece of paper what you expect of them? What kind of questions you might have for them that you want them to answer? So that if they don't understand the language, if they read it that might be easier for them they could say what do you mean by this? That kind of thing makes it a lot clear.
Also, sometimes we can have stressful days, if you have a nanny in the first place that might indicate that you are a busy person and you had a lot going on and you need help. So be sure to take a few breaths before you adjust with the situation to make sure that you are not just the little on the edge because these nannies are with your children all the along. Potentially, they have also, may be their patience is wearing thin, check in with children, talk to your kids and find out how they feel about it and before you ever reprimand a nanny, find out what happened? What your child did? To perhaps -- weren't being scolded. We won't hide your spectacle so you can't see, put toads in your bed or pepper in your tea. You know that kind of stuff.
Hurry up nanny, many thanks sincerely. Did you guys see Mary Poppins. Now, we all want a nanny like her.
