In trying to lose weight by exercising but I have to eat so much food around exercise to keep my blood sugar levels up, I am frustrated. How can I lose weight if I am constantly had to exercise?
That is a very common frustration for a lot of people. In order to maintain our energy levels and to keep our blood sugars elevated, we might need to consume some carbohydrates in order to provide hypoglycemia with exercise.
One idea might be to switch or reduce the number of carbohydrates, the amount of carbohydrates that you have in a meal and move it towards the time that you are going to exercise. This might help to keep your blood sugars elevated during your exercise session.
Another idea might be to supplement your exercise with an energy drink or something like carbo-hi sports drink like Gatorade; that has a little bit of sugar that might help keep your blood sugars elevated with exercise. You might even consider diluting with Gatorade.
