Hi! I’m Bethenny. I’m about to go rollerblading. As much as I’d love to exercise all the time, I definitely don’t. I believe in realistic exercise like what can fit to your life. And truthfully, in New York, rollerblading is a great mode of transportation. I go to the shoe repair to pick things up, I do errand, I obviously go to the park. It doesn’t cost anything. It’s beautiful out.
A lot of times, it’s overwhelming. It feels like you can do something everyday and you don’t want to do it at all. So, I really believe in realistic exercise, anything that can be done. Frankly, yoga, rollerblading—anything with freestyle makes me hotter and makes me able to make more sense of the food choices. Life is difficult enough and we don’t need more chores. There are more things that we have to do and we feel like, or an errand or something we’re not looking forward too. And, it’s really important to find exercise that you like. It could be going out dancing. I mean, when I go out and dance for two hours, I sweat like a baby, I come to the store the next day. I don’t even realize that I exercise. Some, when I rollerblade to an appointment or just take an hour and rollerblade to the park with my iPod on, I feel like I’m getting away with murder because it’s so much fun.
So, do whatever you love. Go dancing, play baseball, play softball, volleyball, swimming, just have a lot of variety, have a lot of passion and besides what you love, and you’ll be able to stick to it on some level in your life. Just pick something that you can incorporate on some level in your life if it’s in your job or in your lifestyle.
