How to File Share with you iPhone
Okay. Hey guys what’s up? On this is a tutorial I’m going to show you how to set up File Sharing from your iPhone straight to your Mac, using Finder nor I was to say till you’ll see I might have a Mac with Pro there, but here goes my iPhone. Now this it’s called Netatalk you can get in offers at Cydia. It’s under the featured pages so you can go ahead and get it there, basically if you want a source I’ll put it in the description I guess. But basically I do is open up Cydia when everything is done loading data and refreshing everything, just go to a featured pages and look for a Netatalk or source it up. It’s N-e-t-a-t-a-l-k.
Now when it’s done basically, your iPhone, you’re neither be aged as18’s or anything. All you need is that app, a wireless network and basically a Mac. So here we have my iPhone and we’re going to choose “connect as” and this will show you that is on the featured pages. I’m just going to click featured pages right here as you can see. Now it’s going to be loading and featured, I’m going to have to wait for it to load.
Now while this is loading I can see Connected as Root and he loads all the files basically you can manage your themes and remember where you see it so you can manage your themes and everything. Basically, everything that you manage in SSH you can do it just straight form the Finder.
Now if you cannot see your iPhone go to a Finder and go preferences on top and make sure that connect the servers and bind to your computer, is check. So I’m just going to exit out of there. And as you can see if you go down, here it goes Netatalk. Alright there, so download that it is basically all you need. Now if you want, it also shows a basically a text kind of tutorial of it and just click install of course, it’s free, it’s open source. As it goes there we go.
Connection how to on Mac and basically I need to do is have to write a username basically and a password. So as you can see in log in as root or mobile and the default password is of course alpine of course it also like that for SSH. So as you can see if we disconnect and we connect as read name is going to be mobile or it can be root and password is alpine and press enter and it should be connecting but also it tells you that and the text tutorial.
So click this “connect as” and just wait for it. Okay so once that’s done as you can see, you can be connected as mobile and will say connected as mobile or connected as root right here but all your files will be accessible straight from Finder and I’m on my case have been have a shortcut.
