Hello everyone, this is Anthony Montalbano here with internetriot.com and today's site I have for you is technorati.com. This is a blog, directory, search engine, whatever you want to call it. It indexes virtually every single blog on the Internet. If you are ever looking to find a blog about a particular topic or if you want to track different blogs and comments and what's hot and what's not in the blogosphere as they call it, Technorati is your main source.
So, I just want to point out, if you are looking for blogs, this is where you go, Technorati. The other thing I like to do is recommend a lot of people if they are starting a blog and they don't really have a category and if they do have a category and they don't know what to write about or how other people are writing about on that niche particular or whatever it is, Technorati, you can find that. So, I am just going to show you a few things here. You will see on a few other blogs, let's click Blog Directory and for instance say you are about to start a blog, or you are looking for a particular topic, blog topic. You can see here, you can just pick a category. So, if I want to do like Food and Wine and what it is going to do here is it is going to show us a list of different blogs about this and it sorts them by authority and what this authority is here is, it kind of shows them like how big this blog is, meaning there are lots of links, there is also traffic, it is just a big -- it is a very important blog. It has got a lot of people using it and this is how you are going to find some of the most popular blogs on different topics sorted by this here.
So, you can see it shows you screenshots and you can see all these other blogs that you can read. So, if I wanted to, I can click on it. It gives us some more information. You can actually see it syndicates the posts from each blog in here where it Latest Posts. So you can even use this to read some of your blogs and find new things. So, it is Technorati if you are looking for blogs, if you are looking to start a blog and you don't know what to write about or how things are done in a particular topic, you can find so on Technorati.
