Hi there. I am Erin, living in New York, working in sales so I have a great need to wear high hills. I like to wear high hills to sales calls so I can be intimidating and taller and make sure that I look fantastic. Then I also wear high hills out at night so that I can look foxy, draw attention to myself and elongate my legs.
Now, I am going to give you some tips on how to find a comfortable high hill. Okay, it is time to start talking about how to buy the correct high hill. I have two high hills here. One, a lovely patent leather round toe, a nice flat form hill as well as a flat form here at the bottom, one more thing that this would be the more comfortable shoe. I also have here a stiletto sling back also around toe.
Now, let us talk about the differences between these two high hills. This high hill nice clunky hill should be easy to walk in you are not going to caught in greats here. This one more of stiletto, you can see here I have it replace a couple of times because I always slip into a great here in New York. But let us really look at the structure of these two round toes. This one, very symmetrically round. This one, a little rounder up on the big toe area, this is very important. If you look at the bottom of these two shoes you can see it I worn them both quite a bit. This one has pressure points on all of the bottom of the shoe. This one only has pressure points on where the big toe is meaning this is torture on your big toe.
What you will need to do when you are buying round toe high hills is feel how your toes feel it and that the most important part. I would also say this is a lovely close fact where a Slingback’s can be a little tricky especially if you are wearing nylon some types. What you need to do is make sure that you have a real quality elastic piece at the back so that regardless of whether your bare foot or you are wearing tights you still can have some traction there. The worst thing you can ever do is have a lose Slingback you will be stepping out of your shoe all the time.
Let us see. Both of these shoes are about a $100.00. I have had both for about a year. Also with high hills you want to look for a large, I do not remember what that is called but the large path on the hills so that you can always have it replace. You can take it to the cobbler or the shoe guys anytime and incase it is ever gets worn down. I would not like to get taps on the front of my shoes. I think it is a little old school but you could always do that if you would intend to walk on your toes a little bit more.
Those were just a few tips on buying high hills. Again, remember a little bit more room for your big toe. The symmetrical round is lovely however painful. Good luck.
