Hey guys its Chris Gatmaitan here. I want to thank you for checking out one of my video episodes. It looks like I'm tired right now because I was stuck in Bay area traffic, that’s in California and you all know how California traffic is so please bear with me.
I got back from a business meeting of one of my clients and he just gave me the heads up to promote this business on line and in this lesson, I’ll giving you a tidbits on how I'm going to promote this business using web tool planners right of this.
Hey guys, so this is my mini lesson on how more to promote my client so seat back, relax, take notes and yes you’re looking at myspace.com. This is one of my main web tool planners’ that I use to promote myself, my businesses, my clients, so the first thing I'm going to do is set them up at MySpace account but since we’re on a much time in this lesson. I'm going to use my MySpace profile just so you can get to the back office and I can walk you to do there in some tools that I used. I know that’s a long last name and URL but I'm going to give you a shorter one towards the end just o you can get it. Get to it quicker otherwise, when you get there, you just go to the VIP Community on MySpace tip number 1 and that’s going to walk it through on setting one up.
I’ll set it to go to MySpace tip number two, so I might want to read about that when you get there. I want to close this and here it goes on MySpace profile. Well the first things I’ll ask my clients and myself before I start marketing a certain product or business is the target market. That’s one of my main things that I was stressed over because I don’t want to do a marketing campaign just for the general public. I want to target a certain group just so we can get better results. But otherwise this is one of the strategies that I was to get it away first. It is to learn my target market and go after them.
So first restaurant that is put in together in the Bay area, he wants to target high schoolers and college students. He wasn’t to be like the ultimate hang out or kids would or there doing lunch to a breaks or know just there to set there and mingle everyday. You know that you wanted to be like everyday hang out like at funny areas. So on MySpace, I use this tool right here, which is search. You see right here above my head, search so let’s use that. I don’t know the school names around the city that he’s going to set up this restaurant right now so I'm just going to use my high school. I went to San Lorenzo High and I graduated 1994 so giving you a roll of this up there, give me a call so this is how you guys are doing. Otherwise, so on as so high that was I choose, on the state I choose California and look out and there from there, set find. And then I would choose the correct one which is San Lorenzo High not Science of Valley high, that’s in there so let’s choose that one.
Okay, our target markets are the high schoolers and college students so we’re going to start right here which is we’re going to find your school search. Brows for and then do both right here both, and then enables the powerful tool to the age brackets. To bet this is anything under 18 but you know all the tool of 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 year olds are signing in as 18 year old so the 18 year old is like marking tool. A young generation too, then in here I’ll choose 25. If you want to grow old a little older then you can grow old, as you want. Another tip is if you want of this target 25 years old just tune to 25 to 25 but we want to go bigger so 18- 25 years old okay? Then from there since we chose the age, we’re going to have it update right here. From here, you’re going to scroll down and up the profiles but for there, Paresei om going to move their picture out just so that they don’t trip out there on my video but there you’ll see that ages 25, 21, 21, 24, 24, 24 and the whole thing is I choose a rune from the neighboring cities some area toward cast about an area and it has a hundred 17 pages.
And then one of the marketing tools that I use from MySpace is a friend requester and what it does is going to send them a message, a custom message that you write on a friend request that’s going to ask them if you can be part of the circle and that’s a great tool for getting lids. There, you can read about it and I will just give you a little review on what I think about it and how it works.
And also, there’s another tool in here that’s great. Say you want to target a certain college or university; you see where the San Lorenzo High. I’ll just go back to change school, and then type in a college or university that you want to target. I’ll jus have you do it because I don’t want to promote a college or university so just pretend this is ABC University and then to this where here was just department. Drop down to business, you see all these? These are departments that I’ll grab students or aluminize from this certain department. For the accounting, business, you know there’s a lot of flocking here after this but I'm otherwise this is another tool you can use and head update and this would rather buy to put them that and then that college or whatsoever again.
Alright guys I think this video’s going too long so much so I’ll cut this short but I am going to make a second segment on how many, how of clients so be on the close look out for that.
