Male Speaker: Check in the oil first. You see how dirty it is. So you basically want to know where that oil is coming from. So what basic that I am going to do next is I am going to put some dye in the motor, and then let it for about 10 minutes, and then it will dictate where the leak is coming from. You know exactly, where the oil leak is at.
Male Speaker: So that shows you where exactly that it's leaking from?
Male Speaker: Yeah, if it's not about power gaskets or if it's oil sending unit or if it's distributor seal that's leaking or somewhere along like it look right along in here, there's a bunch of oil right in here. You see the oil leak right there?
Male Speaker: Right.
Male Speaker: Yeah, and basically it's just looks like coming out off the distributor somewhere or the cam seal or the front seal.
Male Speaker: So the dye will show you exactly where it's coming from.
Male Speaker: Exactly, exactly.
Male Speaker: Okay.
Male Speaker: We can look at some dye. You might have put in the dye into the oil filler cap.
Male Speaker: Put a little bit in there, close the lid, let it run for about 10 minutes, and then you should be able to see a little fluorescent light.
Male Speaker: And now, tell me where the oil leak is at.
Male Speaker: Okay. You got a little bit right here, so you have a valve cover and right in distributor, and right in there. There's the beginning of the leak, it's right there. You go down, you can notice all the way, that right below the distributors that's where all the oil is going to.
Male Speaker: So you are a dye and an ultra light to show off at night?
Male Speaker: Correct, correct, right. That's the best way to do it. That way your accuracy is real good. No gas leak involved.
Male Speaker: Because if somebody else in oil leak, they can't really tell where the oil is coming from, they don't know what to replace.
Male Speaker: Right, because a lot of time they travel. Don't go right back to the main source. Yeah, and so that leak is coming from right there.
Make Speaker: Alright! So that's the best way to check where the leak is to -- or bring it in, put the dye in and use the ultra violet toy.
Male Speaker: Exactly. But the leak is -- oh! There is gasket right in here. More down right there. There's another leak right there. The car has been leaking for a long time. When that car is released I think, there's a tear-up through the valves and the hose.
Male Speaker: Yeah, the oil leaks right under this. Okay, how is this? Oil stroke then you got to replace it.
Male Speaker: So it can really crash you out of money.
Male Speaker: Yeah.
Male Speaker: I mean an oil weight.
Male Speaker: Longevity, yeah.
