Hello, my name is Dr. Kevin Ross Emery, and you and I are going to be taking a journey today. The journey that we are going to be taking today is the journey of, am I psychic? The word psychic and psychic abilities have fascinated us, have scared us, have drawn us, and have pushed us away for thousands of years. Whether somebody has psychic abilities or knows somebody or has somebody who can do things psychically is always a bit of a thrill to it.
In the last 17, almost 18 years, of being a spiritual teacher, coach, counselor, guide, and advisor, one of the journeys I have helped people make is that journey of how to develop your psychic abilities. Our journey today is to determine, do you have psychic abilities? If so, what do you need to know from the very beginning? What you should be aware of? Where may they take you?
The keyword here however is that it really is a journey. Exploring, discovering, and developing your psychic abilities is a journey, that once you began consciously lasts for the whole rest of your life.
Now, why would somebody want psychic abilities? Well, as I have guided many of my clients, and I have been doing professional psychic work for over 30 years now, the psychic allows us to access information from which we can make better decisions, just like any of the other senses. Our eyes with which we see tells us things that makes us decide what to wear or where to put our foot.
Our sense of smell will draw us to something, will calm us down, or can irritate us, or warn us that something is not right. If we smell smoke and there is a fire, we might want to be headed in the other direction.
Touch, same thing. There are things that we are drawn to touch and the feel, the very texture of things, can calm us, can stimulate us, can give us information about how something was made or put together or how it looks. They are all just senses.
Like I like to say, we actually have six senses, and then we have six higher senses, and it is through those senses we receive what one might call psychic information.
Now, before I get ahead of myself, the first thing we want to do is to take a test, and in that test we want to determine, are you psychic? Let's answer that question right off the bat, shall we?
What I want you to do is get into a quiet centered place. Now, you may be watching this at your computer or you may be watching it in your living room or somebody else's living room, I find that anytime I teach a DVD like this, having a few friends makes it a more powerful experience, so hopefully you have a few friends with you.
So now I want all of you to get relaxed. Close your eyes, and I want you to breathe in deeply, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do it again, and this time really become aware of the flow of the air. Feel it as it fills your lungs. Feel it as it makes your heart beat. One more time, breathe it in deeply and out.
So, can you feel yourself breathe, can you be aware of the flow of your breath? Well, if you are breathing, than you are alive, and if you are alive, you are psychic. So you pass the test.
Now, if you didn't pass the test, if you are not breathing and you are not alive, probably it's a waste of time to continue this DVD, you might want to wait till you come back and do it next time. But for those of you that are still living and breathing, shall we move on now? Because you have passed the first test; if you are alive, you are psychic, and you do have access to those abilities.
