How to Find and Use Sticky Notes in Windows 7

Hi! This is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome to your Butterscotch.com tutorial on how to have sticky notes in Windows 7. So called sticky notes had become so popular. They’re in a hundred different sizes but whether you know it or not, you can have them on Windows 7. It’s built right in, just not very obvious. So click on Start and type in sticky in the search box. Press Enter and right over here where you can see it and here’s your sticky note. Note to self: Eat lunch. Now what you can do is you can click there to create another one. You can delete it. It will ask if you’re sure. You can yes and if you don’t want it to ask you again, just click there. You can right click on the post-it note and you could change the color to green, pink, purple, and yellow. You can have a number of sticky notes and you can select all of them at once.

So this is a neat way that you can put notes to yourself on your screen. You can also enlarge the note if you want to type in more. Maybe something is going in line with this one stick it in a quick note so you can remember then look at it later. You can spread this out, paste in a whole paragraph from an article or something. So these are sticky notes in Windows 7, a cool feature and that’s all there is to it.
