How to Finish Graffiti Art
Hi, I’m Stephan, I’m here at SSC skate park, telling you how to do aerosol art. Now that we’re done the details and the fill, now we’re gonna go onto the outline. And when you’re doing the outline, basically, you wanna have the finish cap possible, this is my preference, and you wanna make sure you keep it clean. That’s my goal to keep it as clean as possible. Let’s get started. Now, as I'm doing my outline, I’m also gonna fill in my 3D. I waited to fill my 3D because I’m making my 3D black, and my outline would be black as well. Before I finish my 3D, I wanna come back in and I wanna add some highlights in the 3D, before I finish filling in the black, just to basically add some detail to the 3D because the 3D, just leaving it black is kinda boring. Now that I’m done outlining the piece, gonna come through and put in one last detail. I’m gonna throw paint at my piece. There’s a couple of different ways you can do this, the way I do it, is I usually just take the cap of my paint, and I hold it away from me and I just spray at an angle and I fill the cap with some paint and I step back a little bit and I just take the paint, I just throw it at the wall. Just kinda gives this, the reason I like to do this is at least is because I just like to really show the medium I’m using, which is paint, and splattering really gives you the feel of the paint. Now that we’re done the piece, last final thing you do which a lot of graffiti artist do is their final shout outs, and let me give a shout out to monkeysee.com, State of Confusion Skate Park for letting me paint today, and I’m gonna sign it with my name and date it.
