Well, I have brought me some spark plugs. It's time to start and fixing this old Ford 27. I have got all the old ones out and they are black and sooty. That's what you call shorted spark plugs. No wonder it didn't fire.
I never looked at the spark plugs in this thing since I got it in 1995 until they were then -- but unfortunately spark plugs wears, they are all rotten and half of them have ripped in half. So I got to change those two. But anyways, I've turned down and put those in. I am going to have to get the starter motor out and see what's wrong with it and then find the wiring problem. What a piece of sh*t!
And I found out how the mice are getting in. It's a one little hole right there. They are climbing up on this wiring and the holes all polished, clean. So I know that's where they are coming in. And the other place, grab the motor where the throttle cable goes in. It's all polished, clean and so as the cable. That's big enough for a mouse.
And as to date, in the last three weeks, I've caught 12 mice in here, but none in the last week, because I got them all. Well, now I have got the starter motor on this beast. So I'll take it home and take it apart and fix it.
Well, changing the spark plug on this pig. A bunch of them ripped in half because of the old rubber. So I always save my old spark plug wires in some other vehicle's tuned up. So now I've got to replace a few.
Well, the starter in this thing was in such bad burned out p condition, I couldn't repair it myself. So I took it to a local rebuilder shop called Myron and paid $130 to get this thing fixed properly. So now I have got to put it back in this freezing, icy weather.
There. You can barely see where it goes. You can see the fly wheel to the hole where I took it out. Well, I go to color underneath this thing and there is not much room.
Well, now I am under this thing. Oh man! Well, there is where she goes. What a pain in the ass. The wind is just brassing under here, coming off all that snow. Well, we got to get it done. Well, she is in. Just like I suspected, this motor was too clean and all painted in blue. It's a rebuilt motor.
