How to Fold a Fitted Sheet

I am Lydia from MyHomeIdeas. We're going to fold a fitted sheet. It's one of those household chores that mystifies people because the sheet has these elastic edges and these strange corners and they don't line up easily. So there is a trick to doing this.

You put your hand in this corners where the seams are and layer that one corner over the other one and then do that to the other two remaining corners. Sometimes, you have to wrestle with it a little bit there we are.

Now you marry those two corners and layer them over each other so you got all four corners here with your hand in there, stacked up on one top of the other. Now you're ready to put this down flat and create sort of a rectangle shape, that will be easier to fold up. So we can fold that side in, fold that in half and fold that in half again, and you have something that you can actually put in your linen closet.
