How to Fold an Origami Booklet

Hi! I’m Tilly from activityvillage.co.uk. And today I’m going to show you how to fold the simple origami booklets. Start off with a rectangular piece of paper. Start by folding it in half like this. Make sure you join that, the two corners and crease it carefully. Now, open up the piece of paper and fold the edge in to the crease you’ve just made. Do the same with the other side. It’s nicely creased. Open it back out. Now fold the piece of paper in the other direction making it show the corners meet. Open it up again and fold it back in half in the way you had it before. Now take a pair of scissors and carefully cut along the lines that’s on the folded side of the piece of paper. Stop when you reach the middle line, Now, open up a piece of paper and fold it that way. Now, lift up a piece paper and push the two sides in wards so you get a cross shape. Now, crease, piece of paper. So it turns in to your very own mini-booklet.
