How to Fold an Origami Box

Welcome to watchmojo.com on our origami segment. Today we will be making a box and all you will be requiring is a square piece of paper and a flat surface. To start off with, we are going to make a triangle. So, taking this corner and meeting it with the other. Then, you take this corner and join it with the other corner on the complete other side. There you go. You open this out and you will notice a line in the center of this triangle. You use this line and you open this flap using this crease as to hold it when you flatten this out. Okay, so that should be your end part. You flip it over and you take this flap and you fold it in like that. Take this corner. You take this corner and basically what you do is you meet it with this by opening this, opening here and flattening it out. There. So, it should be like that on both sides.

Now, what you do is, you take this corner here and fold it into the center. And you do the same thing on the other side. You take this corner and you fold it into the other side. Great! You take this opening and just simply flatten it out making sure that this fold here matches this one here. Now, you do this on the other side as well. There. So you should have something like this. Then we should do after is to flip this over and you do the exact same thing on the other side.

So, once again you fold it in the center and open it up. Flatten it out. There. So, she has something like this. You take one of them and you fold it just like a page. And you turn it around and yes, those are the same on the other side. Now, this is the tricky part. What you do is you fold that into the center. Fold. Take these corners and make sure they meet in the center. Take this corner and make sure they meet in the center. Now, you take this bottom flap here and fold it up. Now, the top flaps, you fold downwards. Turn it over, fold downwards. And once again you turn it like a page, fold downwards. Flip it around. Turn it like a page, fold downwards and you got yourself a box.
