How to Fold an Origami Millennium Falcon

Here I’ll show you how to make a simple millennium falcon out of a square sheet of paper. Start by folding in half to form a triangle. Crease and then unfold. Then fold in half to form a triangle from the other direction. Crease and then unfold. Now fold in one of the straight edges into almost the middle. Leave a little bit of space. Rotate and do the same on the other side. Take note of this diagonal crease. Fold this in down to meet that point. Crease and then unfold. Push this corner in along the diagonal crease. Do the same on the other side. And drop these flaps down. Now we’re going to pull out and flatten the paper at the same time. It’ll kind of look like a little hat when you do it right. Now push these flaps up. And from the bottom of the paper, fold up so that the two straight edges meet. Push in these corners along the diagonal crease that’s already there. On the right side, fold this edge in. Reverse the direction of the crease of the diagonal on the top part of the paper. Tuck that under the flap from the bottom half of the paper. On the left side, only fold the edge in from the bottom half of the paper. Take this flap and fold it down at an angle. Then take the corner and fold it back up. Now take these points and fold them about halfway down. We’ll use that crease to help us to tuck these points out of the way. And last, we’ll get rid of this corner here by folding in and then tucking it away. She may not look like much but she’s got it where it counts.
