How to Fold an Origami Turkey (or Peacock)

Today, I will show you how to make an Origami Peacock. But to me it kind of looks likes a turkey. For this fold, use a square two-colored sheet of origami paper. We will start by folding the sheet in a half to make a triangle. You want a crease and then unfold. Now take one of the corners and fold towards the center line. Repeat this with the other side. Now take the corner of that new fold and turn it back on itself. And repeat this with the other side. Fold up the sheet over and take what we folded so far in the other side and fold in towards the middle crease. And of course, we will do this with both sides. Fold up the sheet over again and we will fold it in half by taking the small end towards the big end. Then fold the small tip down on itself. Flip over one more time and fold this point up. Now take both ends and fold everything in half along the original middle crease. Take the small pointed end and pull it down and out gently. This will become the neck and the head. From here there are many variations depending on how fancy you want to get. I am going to fold this point back then forward then down a bit to make a curve neck and head. And finally we will pull these pleats down and you got a fan tail. And that is your peacock. But with the tip of the tail folded down like this, I think it kind of look like a turkey.
