How to Follow Up After an Interview

So you are done with the interview, however your job is not actually over. You need to be proactive in following up with the interviewer as this is going to give you the edge over everyone else that has applied for the position. So when you are done with the interview, ask for a business card from each person to get their spelling right, because you should be writing a thank you letter within 24 to 48 hours of the interview. And in that letter you should be thanking them for their interest in you and reminding them of the strengths and why you are the perfect candidate for the job, also a week after the interview, about ten days, you should be following up over the phone and asking about the position and reminding them about your strengths.
