Welcome to my calorie minute! I am Sarah, your host, with Stephen Cabral, Body Transformation Expert and today we have a celebrity ab workout for you. So today, it's a minute? What is it?
Stephen: We are going to do weighted crunches; basically it's Nelly's favorite ab exercise. We are getting toned ripped abs and as you can see, he likes to show them off on stage quite a bit
Sarah: ...That and his grab. So let's get started at it.
Stephen: So basically you are going to hold this right below your collar bone, right above your chest. You try to make it a part of your body and then with your feet flat on the ground, what I want you to do is crunch up. Now don't sit all the way up, you don't really want to round out the back that much, but what I want you to do is pull your chin looking at your chest, to look up towards the ceiling, and keep the dumbbell against your body as you crunch up, good!
Then come back down slowly, decelerate, don't let your shoulders or head touch and then come right back down slow. So you are keeping constant tension on your abs and you are not loosing them enough flopping down to the ground every time. So you are crunching right back up, constant tension, coming down slower, nice work. So celebrity abs workout, that's a weighted crunch, great exercise for the abs.
