Jay Manuel: Hey! I’m Jay with Style Her Famous. Watch as I reveal how to get Charlize Theron's flawless finish.
So, I’m going to start out by using just a little bit of foundation, actually it’s a concealer because your skin is really even and you don’t need a heavy concealer or a heavy foundation.
So, all I’m going to do is use just a bit under your eyes to even you out and I’m just dragging the excess out because you don’t need to put it heavily everywhere.
When we we’re talking about that bright eyed look that Charlize does, by taking the same sheer of foundation and just putting it over your lids, it will kind of minimize the little redness and the little veins that we don’t want people to see and it will help act as a base to the light eye shadow that we’re going to use.
And what I’m doing right now is actually using a bronzer all over your face, it’s really going to create that flawless finish that Charlize does so well and you can use it in replacement for powder because your skin is not oily and you don’t need a powder and the bronzer would just make it perfect.
You know this little area right here that we’re trying to feel, grow back, I’m just going to fill it in, so you’re going to see what I mean by a little thicker. I’m not filling in your entire eyebrow, I’m just filling in the areas that were thin. A lot of people end up trying to fill in the whole brow but the whole brow becomes dark, so by me just filling in thin areas it evens it out without it getting really, really too heavy.
Now, for this bright eye, we want to layer these kind of iridescent shadows. So, first thing I’m going to do is just go over the entire lid just with this really pretty pink iridescent. See how easy this is? And I’m going to take another just iridescent highlighter; it’s a lighter shade of pink. I’ll just put it on the brow bone just like that.
And here’s another trick, because Charlize does this bright eyed look, I’m going to take actually a blush and I know that seems kind of weird, but we’re going to take this nice pink blush and I’m just going to take along the lash line. We’re going to try this look is going to be really easy, I’m just going to take that light iridescent and just put a little bi t on the inner corner under your eye, just like that.
The reason we’re going to do that is it actually opens up the eye with a light shadow as opposed to using a dark shadow which can close down your eye.
Remember, you’ve got a more hooded lid than Charlize, so we have to really stay true to this kind of wide eyed bright color.
You know the reason why we’re putting this iridescent on the inner corner under your eye, if you put that in the inner corners under your eye, it reflects the light, it just make sure you having this instant eye lift.
Kit Bennett: Okay.
Jay Manuel: And you won’t look as tired and this is the Charlize pink blush. Put it right on the apple of the cheeks and notice I’m not taking the blush all the way up and around because think about it this way, when we “blush” the blood kind of flushes to the center of our face, so you want to kind of get the color right here.
I don’t think typically for a day look, Charlize would use a very heavy lipstick and I don’t think you would do a dark color either. So, we’re going to do a nice pink because this whole face is kind of a pink palette. So, I think we’re all done. You look gorgeous. How do you feel?
Kit Bennett: Just fantastic.
Jay Manuel: Remember, a fabulous face isn’t just about makeup, it’s about taking care of your skin too and that’s how you get Charlize Theron’s flawless look.
